A Data Model in RDBMS is a way to describe how data is organized, stored, and related in a database. It defines the structure of tables, the relationships between them, and the rules that ensure data is stored accurately and consistently.

In simple terms, it's shows what kind of data can be stored, how different pieces of data are connected, and how users can interact with the data using queries. The most common type of data model in relational databases is the relational model , where data is arranged in tables with rows and columns, and relationships are made using keys like primary keys and foreign keys.
