Define Reflection.

In : BCA Subject : Computer Graphics

In computer graphics, reflection is used to represent reflecting objects such as mirrors and bright surfaces.

In a ray trace rendered, reflection is achieved by following a ray from the eye to the mirror, calculating where it bounces, and repeating the process until no surface is located, or until a non-reflective surface is identified.
The photo realistic features of a 3D visualization can be enhanced by reflection on a shining surface such as wood or tile.
